Thank you everyone who has sent me personal emails asking, "WHERE ARE YOU?" I apologize for not answering and causing you to worry. To put it simply, my life came crashing around me, again, again and blogging was the last thing I could even think of putting any energy into. I have started a new life for myself, in so many ways that I am at a lost of words to even describe it. (Yes, for once in my life I truly have no words)
I will spare you all the sordid details that the last 7 months have been in my life. It would give any HBO series a run for their money and I am sure ratings would be high!! What does matter is what I do with today, tomorrow; yesterday can not be changed.
I have done a bit of knitting, not nearly as much as I use too. With my life so out of focus, it was hard to concentrate on anything else but how crazy things are. I do believe that all our lives are crazy in some way or another. My life still is crazy but an awesome kind of crazy. Here are 4 cellphone sleeves that I made for the girls.
Not my most creative work but something none the less. Most important, it was knit with 4 little girls in mind who I love dearly! They didn't care that it was not made out of the most expensive yarn, the softest yarn but that thought of them while knitting. It is funny how when you first start knitting, you finish each project and can't imagine having UFO's laying around. As I unpacked in my new home, I could not believe how many UFO's I have. There is a hot pink sock, a few purses, a sweater for someone, a scarf, a single mitten and few other things I can not remember what they were to start with. I am going to try to finish my UFO's before I move onto yet another new project. You know you have to much yarn when the kids are fighting over who's closet Mom can keep it in. Thats right, they don't want to share their closet with my yarn! I think they are secretly afraid it will over take their stuff and probably very accurate!
As I leave my 1st post in months, I leave my past behind and look forward to a bright future. I have found a peace that I can not describe. There are many things to be thankful for, I have great kids, a wonderful home, a job that most people dream of, 2 new awesome relationships that have a great future, my WIP-B, and most important 411. I no longer live in the coulda, shoulda, woulda but live with what can I do today, tomorrow and make a better life for myself & the kids. Each day is new, it up to you what you do with it.
Congrat's on your new beginning. Sounds good. I do hope everything works out for the best. Re: I believe the grass is greener on the other side!
