For my knitting friends... I regret to inform you, that due to injury, I can not knit at the moment. Can you believe it???  Never let your hubby pretend to be a chiropractor.... Doesn't work very well and cause more problems.  Then on top of that, stay away from the TABLE! I finally gave in after 3 weeks of constant burning in my shoulder, hopefully on the road to recovery now.

Repeat, I will not drink that much again.. I will not drink that much again. From what I do remember, we had a good time... Ok, I think we did some shots, then did some more shots, then a few more.

It was great spending time with all the girls again.

I would have to say right now, the last few months have been AMAZING! CHEESEBURGER!

When in your life have you been loneliest?
From May 05 till May 06. I can pin-point the day. Happy 6 months, GIRL!

What is your strongest emotion?
At this moment in my life, Love! What comes around goes around!!!!!!

What is your weakest emotion?
Anger... I can fly off the handle at a moments notice if "someone" pushes my buttons just right. It takes the right person though, so just to clarify... I AM NOT A HOT HEAD! hot feet, ok.. not a hot head.

Right now: happy or sad? Why?
Fricken, Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy. Amy is very HAPPY!! Why? Because all the people who are important to me in my life, are in my life. Each day just seems like a gift,  it just seems to get better and better.

SP9 Package...

I got the most awesome package from my SP9!! I just love it!! It was mostly pink, my FAV color!

I got a washcloth that she made, Khaki & Moss Soap scented Honey Clove, 2 candles from Yankee Candle in scents Home Sweet Home & Sage and Clove, 2 skeins of Atacama yarn, a note pad that says, " I knit therefore I am", and Fetching pattern from Knitty. After christmas I think I am going to make them! I just love everything she sent me. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

3x Thursday: Flavorites

1. What's your favorite 'chill' (mellow, relaxing, etc) activity? Why?
Right now, I love Jack's Mannequin and Death Cab for Cutie for music. If I want to take a trip down memory lane, Green Day all the way BABY! Of course that would be knitting!!!! What else is there to do????

2. When you go out, where do you like to go? What do you like to do?
Gosh, this is hard one... I like to go listen to bands and check out different bars.

3. What's your favorite comfort food? Why? Do you keep some on hand for emergencies?
I really don't have a "comfort food", my life is just so AWESOME! But if I had to pick some things " I could go for" it would have to be, gummy worms, Moutain Mix, Sour Cheddar Chips, Suz/Dave's popcorn, just to name a few.

How's life? Is it treating you well right now?

Back in the Day, a Wednesday aka Kissy Face

I am still known to this day to make this face. Just ask my eldest daughter who makes fun of it all the time. The genetic pool gave me a big mouth and lips. (a nose too but we won't go there!)

My guess would be that it was taken sometime between 1984-86. There is not a date on it. It was in the time neon sweat-shirts and yellow-orange hair was in. Didn't you love that bottle of Sun-In? It promised to make you a blonde!!!! Yeah, right!!!!! My shade was closer to Cindy Lauper than a blonde. My sister Kate still has a nuk and wearing my brother's hand-me-downs. (WTH was our mother thinking? These photos do come back to haunt us!) Kate discovered if she refused to wear pants and only skirts/dresses, she wouldn't get his clothes. I think she caught on about age 4?  That would make her 3ish then? My brother Josh is wearing undies and I KNOW he was not potty-trained (We could have a whole discussion on his strange toliet habits as a toddler) until well into his 3rd year, so I guess he is 4. My favorite part about this photo is how Josh and Kate are playing footsie. Proof, that our brother was once a happy, cheerful little boy who liked us!

SP9 Random Wacky Fact

I am not sure this will be the wackiest one but I have a horrible habit of making these doodles. If I am at my desk, listening at a meeting, or on the phone, I make these doodles. Pretty much they are every piece of paper that I have. I have even given a teacher (OK all of them at one point) a note back with them on. All my grocery lists have them on. My favorite is when I have 2 different color pens at my desk!!!!!!! The FUN I have making them 2 toned.

After stalking a few too many blogs the other day, this kept coming up, meme. I could not figure it out for a long time. Thanks to Google, here we go!

What is the most beautiful...

1. ... sight you've ever seen? A simple one, just a smiled returned.

2. ... sound you've ever heard? That old cliche, "hearing my baby (or babies) cry for the 1st time."

3. ... song you've ever listened to? This is a hard one... I have different songs from different times in my life. Right now, Holiday from Real by Jack's Mannequin. I am sure that could change by next month...

4. ... place you've ever been to?  Well, this one time at band camp. No, not really! I wouldn't torture a single living soul with my musical ablities or lack their of. (Really, it is that bad) It would have to be seeing the sunset in Cancun Mexico.

5. ... experience you've ever had? Holding Paige for the first time after she was born. I was unable to hold her for a week since she was a premie.

Back in the Day, a Wednesday...

As my FAV comedian & current celebrity obsession (Dane Cook) always says, "Back in the Day, which was a Wednesday BTW." I looked for a blast from my past. I got this idea from another blog that I happen to be stalking from time to time. So in honor of the recent holiday, Halloween... This is what I found.

It was NOT Halloween but a summer neighborhood parade. (We even made the front page of our small local paper.) Yes, we decided to dress up and walk around the "block". (No, there is no Jenny) I am at the far left, Lisa (childhood BF) and 2 random guys to which I have no idea who they are. They couldn't have been memorable neighbors now, could they? I also decided this photo must have been taken pre-poltergeist the movie. I would no longer be caught dead walking next to a clown! One of my many small numerous quirks! It could be so much worse, I have an aunt who is deathly afraid of buttons.
