We are almost there! We get our food, port-a-potties, ice, brats, and then we start off with youth night.. The grounds look pretty much the same as before. However, we have this new awesome banner to show off the great sponsors.
With out our sponsors this event could not happen.

I almost love hate to say it out loud but we are a bit ahead of schedule! Last night we got the fence up, Stan the Man came to do our eletric needs, picnic table were moved, tables & chairs from City Hall got down.. Whew...

Falls Fest Day 1....

Well, once again it is upon us... For many residents of Sheboygan Falls, WI, it is signal of the end of summer. We are on our 37th Annual Falls Fest. This year I am the chairperson of the event. The Jaycees do all the work for the Fest. Food, Beer, Entertainment, Bingo, Fireworks, you name it we do it. Here is what the park looked like on Day 1...

Finally, I get the sock thing....

To all you Knitters out there, I get the sock thing now! Before, I knew what I was doing.. I just didn't "get" what everyone was so crazy about. I stand up before you with my hands in the air and a bow.. I GET IT! I really love doing socks. I have completed my 1st pair here. They are just awesome and fit my wide 9 1/2s.

I am now on my 2nd pair of socks for a gift. The name won't be mentioned since then she will know.. I am using Regina Cotton 41% Wool and 43 % Cotton. It does like to get tangled up but really soft and will be great to wash. I am also doing a pattern in them finally!

My Final Sp8 gift

This was my first experience with doing the SP8. I just loved it, Pennie was an awesome SP. I got the cutest stuff from her. She sent me this box that she decorated with stuff just about knitting and all about me. I just love it and have started to fill it all ready. Then there was some hand-dyed sock yarn that she made in the shade of Lazy, I can't wait to get started!! The sheep soap smells so good and the cutest little sheep that looks awesome on my computer desk. I also got a Knitters Survial Kit and a set of DP 3 for knitting the socks on.
