Sorry our 30 days of knitting has fallen through. I should of known better! Summer is just crazy with all the kids home and driving me nuts! Work is nuts! A new catalog, products. It all takes so much time.
Back to Knitting..
I made the nested box from Mason-Dixion Knitting Book. All I need to do now is felt it. I was able use the yarn that my SP8 sent me.
I also made the Booga bag for my friend Susan for her birthday. Now, that I have given it to her I can show photos of it. I was unable to get my hands on the Noro Kureyon featured with the pattern in time to finish her gift. I used Paint Box yarn and loved the results of the colorway.
Just before felting it
After I felted it.
Here is with the liner. I love the fabric I used and it match perfectly!
Suz just loved it! I love giving gifts to people who do appreciate all the hard work into it. Each stitch was knitted with love and couldn't of given it to a nicer person.
Audra, Kate, Andrea and I took Susan out to the Cheesecake Factory in Milwaukee for her birthday and it was such a perfect night. Here is us before we left at Susan's.
Audra, Susan, Me, Kate and Andrea.
Here is Susan with her birthday Cheesecake. Doesn't she look awesome? Love ya GIRL!
I'm so glad you like your handdyed yarn. Did I tell you I love felting? I love making booga bags and I have learned to add stitches and subtract stitches here and there to make all kinds of patterns. I just finished a purse on the line (strike line) and I'm going to felt it tonight. Happy Knitting :)

I cant wait to see a post-felting picture of the box. I just knitted a purse, but I am so sewing inept that I have to send it out to get the lining done.

Your booga bag turned out great! The color is gorgeous. I made a few of those for gifts and they were a big hit!

I love the bag and the box...how did you line your Booga Bag??? I've made a couple but never thought of lining them - What a great idea, now if I just knew how :)
