When you knit or crochet dishcloths, washcloths or face cloths, what do you use? What size needle or hook? Wood? What type? Metal or plastic? A specific brand? Why do you love that needle or hook so much? Is there one you are dying to try? Is there a particular yarn you love, and use all the time for cloths? What is so special about it?
I really have only had access to Peach's & Cream from Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby. However, I am taking a trip to a new yarn shop this week and I am really looking forward to checking out some different brands of cotton yarn. I like to use my Addi Turbo size 8s best. I love the joins in the Addi's, how easy the yarn slides on the needles and the weight of them in my hands. However, I am dying to try out the Harmony Needles from Knit Picks! There is no particular yarn that I just love... I love them all!
On a side note: I have been getting the Yarn of the Month for almost 2 years now. Well, needless to say I have 100's of samples of yarn and didn't know what to do with them. There really only is enough yarn to knit up a swatch but yet I got to try tons of yarn that I might not have normally tried. I have knitted all that I can with what needles I have. Who knew I didn't have size 5 or 2s???? Here are some pics of me blocking my squares.
Now I need to catalog them all!!
